Top of the ridge

Inspired by the elegant rustic hidden landscape of the Hindon valley in Wiltshire just over the border of North Dorset and not far from Wardour Castle.I created an outdoor feel of the long narrow hill and beyond Semley hill.I used a wet in wet technique- three colours and a large bamboo flat brush made of wool to create the washes and a distinctive tree line using my horizontal line technique.All my paintings are from reality and impressions in original watercolour.This is not far from where I live just over the hill and Valley -Shaftesbury -North Dorset.
